1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Proof of Bridge handles information when you visit the website, search a wallet address, view relationship results, contact us, or otherwise use the Service.
It applies to the Service operated under this brand. External websites, wallets, explorers, exchanges, blockchain networks, and other third parties have their own privacy practices.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories of information:
- Wallet search data, including the public Solana wallet address you enter and the public Robinhood Chain addresses and transactions returned for that search.
- Public blockchain data, including transaction hashes, timestamps, assets, amounts, wallet relationships, and network identifiers.
- Technical request information that web servers and hosting infrastructure normally receive, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, timestamps, error information, and basic security logs.
- Information you voluntarily provide if you contact us, such as your message and the contact details you choose to include.
The Service does not require a wallet connection, private key, seed phrase, transaction signature, or custody of funds for public wallet discovery. Do not send us private keys or seed phrases.
3. Where information comes from
We obtain information from:
- You, when you submit a wallet address or contact us.
- Public blockchain ledgers and publicly accessible transaction records.
- Blockchain indexing, data, and infrastructure services used to resolve wallet relationships.
- Hosting, security, and diagnostic systems that support delivery of the website.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Process wallet searches and provide relationship maps and transaction evidence.
- Validate addresses, request indexed public records, normalize results, and prevent duplicate work.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Detect misuse, protect availability, enforce applicable terms, and respond to incidents.
- Respond to communications and comply with legal obligations.
- Create aggregate or de-identified operational statistics where reasonably possible.
We do not use wallet search data to provide personalized financial advice or to make decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another essential service.
5. Public blockchain records
Wallet addresses and blockchain transactions are publicly accessible. A wallet address is pseudonymous, not necessarily anonymous, and it may become linked to a person through public records, outside activity, or information supplied by others.
Public blockchains are operated by independent networks. We do not control, edit, or delete records stored on those networks. Deleting information from our systems does not delete the underlying blockchain record or copies maintained by third parties.
A wallet relationship displayed by the Service does not prove real-world identity or common ownership. Users must not treat it as conclusive identity information.
6. How information is shared
We may disclose limited information in the following circumstances:
- To blockchain data and indexing services when a wallet address must be queried to provide a result.
- To hosting, security, and technical service providers that process information on our behalf to operate the Service.
- When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests, or to protect rights, safety, security, and service integrity.
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.
Based on the current design of the Service, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not provide wallet search histories to data brokers for advertising purposes.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Essential technical mechanisms may be used by the application or hosting infrastructure to provide security, routing, load management, and core functionality.
If analytics, advertising, or additional cookie-based features are introduced, this Policy and any required consent controls should be updated before those features are enabled.
8. Retention
Completed wallet relationship results are currently held in a short-lived in-memory server cache, normally for about five minutes, to improve performance and avoid immediately repeating the same public-data request. Cache duration may be adjusted for reliability and security.
A searched wallet address appears in the page URL. It may remain in your browser history and may appear in ordinary server, hosting, proxy, security, or diagnostic logs. Those logs may be retained under the relevant infrastructure provider's operational and legal retention practices.
Communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, protect the Service, and meet legal obligations. Public blockchain records may remain publicly available indefinitely because we do not control the networks that store them.
9. Legal bases where applicable
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the Service you request, to pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, to comply with legal obligations, and with consent where consent is required.
Our legitimate interests include responding to searches, protecting systems, preventing misuse, diagnosing failures, and improving reliability. You may have a right to object to certain processing depending on your location.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the Service. API credentials are kept on the server and are not intentionally exposed through the public interface.
No internet service is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost, altered, or disclosed without authorization. You should not submit confidential wallet credentials or secrets through a public search field.
11. International processing
The internet, public blockchain networks, and service infrastructure may operate across multiple countries. Information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we will apply the safeguards required for the relevant transfer.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to a local data protection authority.
These rights may be limited by law and by the nature of public blockchain records. We can address information controlled by the Service, but we generally cannot alter or erase data written to a public blockchain or held independently by another service.
Submit a request using the official contact method published on the Service. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify the relevant records without collecting unnecessary sensitive information.
13. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Service, use the official contact method so the situation can be reviewed.
14. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to explorers, social platforms, wallets, exchanges, or other third-party services. Their collection and use of information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Policy. Review those policies before providing information or completing a transaction.
